Booking Confirmation

By booking services with SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd , you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Cancellation Policy

Callout / Booking Fees

All callout/booking fees are non-refundable due to the work involved and resources allocated to each booking.

Engineer Scheduling

Our engineers carefully plan their schedules to meet the demands of customers. A cancellation fee will be imposed to compensate for any disruption caused by last-minute cancellations. The full booking fee will remain payable if an engineer has already been assigned. A cancellation fee of £30 applies in such cases.

In cases, mostly emergencies, it is common that the works will have to be completed at a later date due to plumbing merchants being closes, lack of parts or time but we aim to stop whatever the main route cause of the issue is.

Office Administration

Our office staff spend time coordinating appointments. The cancellation fee helps offset this administrative cost.

Cancellations made after the work has been booked in on our system may be charged the full booking fee.

Refund Process

Refunds are only provided if SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd cannot fulfil its obligations (A plumber being sent within timeframe of service paid for). Refunds are processed directly to the nominated bank account. SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd does not store customer debit or credit card details.

Modifications to Bookings

If you need to modify your booking, contact us before the attending service partner has left to attend. We will do our best to accommodate changes.

Callout / Booking Fee Payments

Once a booking is confirmed, the callout fee is non-refundable and subject to this Cancellation Policy. By confirming your booking, you accept these terms.

Definitions

User – The individual booking a repair or service.

Engineer – The tradesperson sent by SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd to complete the work.

SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd operates as a finder’s service, linking users with a network of accredited, vetted service professionals (“engineers”). Engineers are self-employed and not employees or subcontractors of SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd. Responsibility for the quality of works rests solely with the attending engineer.

The booking fee covers the arrangement service. Additional payments are made directly to the service partner. Standard engineer rates are £80 per hour, subject to higher rates for out-of-hours or complex conditions.

Liability

SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd will always endeavor to provide same-day service but cannot guarantee attendance. We are not liable for delays or for the quality of works, which is the sole responsibility of the engineer.

Our service falls under urgent repairs and maintenance as defined in The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Part 3, Clause 28. By paying for our services, you agree to these terms and accept that refunds outside of this policy are at SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd’s discretion.

Access & Safety

You must ensure safe access to the property. Unsafe conditions may result in the engineer being unable to carry out work, and charges may still apply.

Call Recording

Calls may be recorded for evidence and training purposes.

Permits, Provisions and Consent

It is the user’s responsibility to ensure any required permissions, permits, or consents are obtained before work commences. Engineers work under their own liability insurance, typically up to £2.5 million. SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd is not liable for defects, damages, or regulatory issues related to works carried out by the engineer.

Gas work is carried out only by Gas Safe registered engineers, who are solely responsible for compliance and liability.

Call-Out Charges

1. Standard Call-Out

  • Fee: £80 call-out + £80 for the first hour of labour.

  • Response Time: Within 7 working days of booking.

2. Emergency Call-Out

  • Fee: £120 call-out + £120 for the first hour of labour.

  • Response Time: Same day or next day (subject to availability).

3. Out-of-Hours Call-Out

  • Fee: £160 call-out + £160 for the first hour of labour.

  • Applicable Hours: After 6:00 PM, weekends, and public holidays.

All call-out fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, as they cover scheduling and administrative costs. Additional labour beyond the first hour will be charged at the same hourly rate unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Data Protection Compliance

SwiftFix 24/7 Ltd complies with UK data protection law. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling. We may amend these terms without notice; continued use of our service constitutes acceptance of changes.

Governing Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
